Adira Copper And Swarovski Wirework Necklace | The creator of this piece says: I named this necklace "Adira". It's Hebrew and means: majestic, mighty and strong.
I hand forged copper wire to create the intricate framework. I took more copper wire to create the ornate wirework.
| The focal point of the necklace is the wirewrapped 15x14mm jet black Swarovski crystal. The necklace also has smaller jet black, siam and tanzanite color Swarovski crystals that I also wirewrapped.
The necklace is connected to a black leather cord that has coiled copper connectors and a hook and eye clasp that I also handmade/handforged.
I then oxidized the necklace to create an antiqued finish and tumbled to add shine and highlight the details to make it more striking.
The "pendant" of the necklace measures 5.5" wide and total of 3.5" tall. The necklace is 22" in length. |
