Cowrus Men's Hemp Necklace | The creator of this piece says: This is a 19" hemp necklace designed for men (it's a bit thicker than normal). It contains 6 cowrie shells and a BUNCH of metallic colored plastic beads. I started off with regular square knot and adding the metallic beads. I strung the cowrie shells by adding a jump ring to either end of the shell and stringing one outer thread through the top and one through the bottom. |

About the Artist: April SmithI have always had a love for hemp as it is versatile, very strong, and has such a lovely texture.
I also have a love for art (obviously...I'm a graphic and web designer) so making jewelry flows along naturally in my creative self. I started out probably in elementary school with embroidery thread and then branched out into hemp.
