Dream Catcher Necklace

Dream Catcher NecklaceThe creator of this piece says: This necklace was inspired by the Indian dream catchers. It has seven rings from a chain that I attached beads to with wire. I put a small yellow glass bead on the second and second to last ring, and a teal bead on the center ring. I also dangled three teal beads from the center ring which is where I captured the essence of the dream catcher. I added several beads on the outside of the rings and made a chain. I hope you enjoy it.

About the Artist: Madeline Meekins

I have been making jewelry in central Texas for several years now, but I just recently started selling my work. I enjoy working with wire and natural stones, semi-precious stones, and gems. My inspiration comes from anything I see beauty in; whether it's the sunset reflecting from the lake or a fabulous outfit on someone. When I see colors together that compliment each other, I feel like it should be reflected in one of my pieces.
