Lampwork Bead Ring | The creator of this piece says: This ring was born from the disaster of another project. My beautiful lampwork bead split in half. I just couldn't throw it away, and so decided to use it as a cab in a ring project that I was planning. The wire used in this project is 22ga gold filled square and 21ga gold filled half round wire. The flat side of the half round is facing up, rather than the usual rounded side. I also made the prongs extra long and split them before curling them. |
About the Artist: Sherome FoxI am 65 years old and after growing tired of years of crocheting and knitting, decided to try my hand at jewelry in 2006. I fell in love with the wire wrapping jewelry and decided that was the direction that I wanted to go in. I am inspired by the work of others that love to display their work on the Wire Jewelry Forum on the Delphi Forum site. View Sherome Fox's website at Jewelry By Sherome. Other Pieces by this Artist
