Make Love Not War Earrings | The creator of this piece says: Yes, I know... the 60's are over. But some might say that the era represented not just a time but a mindset... and couldn't we use a little 60's mindset right now? I know *I* could. I bought these little stamped brass flower charms awhile ago and the first incarnation featured small blackstone rondelles. This time around, I went with teeny weeny, creamy white glass pearls and finished with goldfilled handcrafted earwires. |
About the Artist: Lee WealI've been making jewelry for about a year and a half. Wandering around a craft store one day, I picked up some beads and earwires and thought I'd try making earrings just for fun. I was IMMEDIATELY hooked and after a few months, I started researching better materials and techniques on line. When I sold my first pair at a craft show, there was no turning back. I had planned to make necklaces and bracelets but after having done a few, I find that I really enjoy making earrings and plan to just stick with that for now. I'm a city girl with a simple, clean aesthetic; I don't care much for fuss or fanfare, so I like the idea of just adding a simple, pretty pair of earrings to complete your look; sort of like the cherry on a sundae!
