About the Artist: Sheena ChildersPaper beading came to my attention when I was twelve years old. While rummaging through the old stuff in the attic one day, I came across a paper beaded door curtain from the 60's. The beads were huge and bulky, but I liked the idea and taught myself to make them small for jewelry. I was unaware at the time that there were how-to instruction books on the subject! That was 18 years ago, and I still experiment with new ways to make beads. I started making Fimo clay beads a few years ago, and love it!
