Pearls On A Silver Lily Pad

Pearls On A Silver Lily PadThe creator of this piece says: This pendant combines three of my favorite jewelry making mediums: wire wrapping, beading and Precious Metal Clay (PMC). It all started with a lovely peach colored pearl. I then designed the lily pad of PMC to nestle around the pearl. I wire wrapped the lily pad to transform it into a pendant.

It is finished with fine silver wire to secure the pearls of natural peach, lavender and peacock. The pendant is 1¾ inches from the top of the bail to the bottom and 1½ inches wide.

About the Artist: Jean Wardlaw

JNJGEMS is owned by Jean & Jack Wardlaw. Before starting this business Jean was a CPA, and Jack and electrician. While Jack still works as an electrician, Jean is devoting most of her time to making jewelry. After years of being buried, our creativity had to come out and play.

Jean has been doing bead work over 20 years as a hobby and decided to make it a full time job this year.

Jean and Jack have both taken classes at Willian Holland Lapidary School in wire wrapping, cabachon cutting, Opal cutting, Dichroic glass fusing, and several other classes.
