Red Glass Autumn Necklace | The creator of this piece says: First, I made these round beads from off cuts glass. Due to unknown C.O.E. of the glass I couldn't mix any other colors on the beads hence I made the disc beads to add interest to my piece.
I strung some citrine chips on small waxed linen thread in different length with small knots on each end to stop the chips from falling off. |
I made a few strings with dics beads as well. Then I folded it into two and made a simple knot in the middle with a loop so I could string these in between the round beads.
Then I strung round beads alternating with the citrine chips and disc dangle on a rubber tube with 49 strands inside the tube for strength. I finished this piece with a few Jerusalem rings on each end, than added clasp. Voila! |
