Starry Night Beaded Necklace | The creator of this piece says: I consider simple necklaces very beautiful. When I made this one I used a combination of dark blue semi-precious sodalite and golden Czech crystal glass beads. | The colors remind me of a night sky with golden stars. I made the pendant by wrapping sterling silver wire and a few beads around the main sodalite bead. A Bali metal beads give it a little bit of interest. I like easy to use toggle clasps on my necklaces and here I used a simple Bali metal clasp. The necklace is 16" long. |
About the Artist: Anna JamersonI like nice things. I like people's creativity and I admire the risks many of them take.
I am from Slovakia and I moved to the USA in 1995. I live in Kensington, MD with my husband John and my son Ondrej.
I made my first necklace after I lost an earring that my future husband gave me. The one that I did not lose ended up on a little necklace I made for myself. Making beads became my hobby about 5 years ago, Everything I know I have taught myself and I still keep learning. I find beading very relaxing and soothing. Most of the time I bead early in the morning before everyone wakes up... just me, my beads and my cat watching. I donate some proceeds from all my jewelry to American Cancer Society to honor my sister in law who died from cancer. View Anna Jamerson's website at MyFunBeads - Beads for any occasion.
