Tibetan Colors Necklace | The creator of this piece says: I found the center bead at the local bead shop in my college town. The bead inspired me to make a necklace similar to the necklaces traditionally worn by Tibetans. In general, the necklaces are rather large so I simplified mine to a size that fits my style.
The materials used in the necklace were nylon coated wire and various beads from Nepal. |
About the Artist: LauraA friend of mine use to knit with beads and shared some of her bead magazines with me. I became aware of other people's jewelry and what went in to making them. When I went to college I found a local bead shop that had an amazing supply.
I make a point of looking for different beads everywhere I travel.
